Plot
On a remote Japanese island, a joint military team from the U.S. and Japan seeks an innovative method to purify salt water using a unique lake. Their experiments inadvertently awaken Obaki, a prehistoric monster lying dormant beneath the surface. As the creature emerges, it unleashes chaos across Japan. Although produced by an independent American studio, the film draws heavily from the 1958 Toho classic "Daikaiju Varan," incorporating its monster effects and select dramatic sequences to craft a thrilling narrative of terror and environmental consequences.
