Myron Healey
Myron Daniel Healey was a notable American actor whose career spanned several decades, beginning in Hollywood during the early 1940s. He made his film debut in 1943 with the movie *Young Ideas*. Following his service in World War II, Healey became a familiar face in low-budget western films, often cast as villains or henchmen. His work in the post-war era predominantly featured productions from Monogram Pictures, where he collaborated with stars like Johnny Mack Brown and Jimmy Wakely.
As the 1950s rolled in, Healey transitioned into more prominent "bad guy" roles across various genres, including the *Bomba* and *Jungle Jim* series, as well as crime dramas. Notably, he portrayed the outlaw Bob Dalton in the television series *Stories of the Century*. In a rare turn as a hero, he played Phyllis Coates' partner in the 1955 serial *Panther Girl of the Kongo*.
Throughout his career, Healey appeared in numerous television westerns, including *The Adventures of Kit Carson* and *Tombstone Territory*, where he played Johnny Ringo. He was a semi-regular on popular shows produced by Gene Autry's Flying A company and made guest appearances on series like *Sheriff of Cochise* and *Zorro*. Between 1960 and 1963, he was featured multiple times on the NBC westerns *Laramie* and *The Virginian*.
Over his lifetime, Healey amassed an impressive filmography of around 140 films, including 81 westerns and a few horror flicks like *Varan the Unbelievable* and *The Incredible Melting Man*. His versatility and presence cemented his legacy in the entertainment industry.
