Plot
After rancher Bill Martin's brother dies in a stampede instigated by a ruthless cattleman, Bill returns to Fargo to take over the family ranch. Welcomed by the law-abiding cattleman MacKenzie and his daughter Kathy, he quickly finds himself at odds with local bully Austin and his violent henchmen. To protect farmlands, Bill devises a plan to erect barbed wire, which proves effective in court despite cattlemen's protests. Infuriated, Austin and his gang retaliate by publicly humiliating Bill, igniting a fierce conflict that escalates tensions between ranchers and farmers in the community.
