Akihiko Hirata (Hirata Akihiko) was a prominent Japanese film actor, born on December 26, 1927, and he passed away on July 25, 1984. Throughout his career, Hirata appeared in a multitude of films, with a notable highlight being his involvement in Hiroshi Inagaki's acclaimed Samurai trilogy.
