Plot
Amidst the turmoil following the Siege of Osaka, the remnants of the Toyotomi clan grapple with their defeat and the relentless pursuit by the Shogun's forces. As the situation grows dire, five samurai confront their destinies: one seeks a valiant death in battle, while another opts for hari-kiri, desiring a picturesque backdrop. A third, labeled a coward, wishes to abandon the samurai life altogether. Meanwhile, the last two resort to burning down their own castle, hoping to curry favor with the enemy and escape the looming massacre of their fallen comrades.
