Plot

In "The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu," the sinister doctor’s 168th birthday takes a turn for the worse when a clumsy assistant accidentally spills his age-defying elixir. To concoct a new version, Fu Manchu dispatches his henchmen to gather rare ingredients, beginning with the Star of Leningrad diamond, which is stolen from a Soviet exhibition in Washington, D.C. Meanwhile, the FBI sends agents Capone and Williams to England to seek the expertise of Nayland Smith, who is well-versed in Fu’s devious schemes.
