A Model's Confession (1918)

Plot

Iva Seldon, a model at Armande's, finds herself entangled with wealthy client Billy Ravensworth, who buys lavish gowns for the manipulative Rita Challoner. When Billy's payment bounces, Iva visits Rita's home to retrieve the dresses and unexpectedly encounters her estranged father, Bertrand Seldon, a society figure who abandoned her mother years ago. As Rita ends her relationship with Billy after discovering his financial struggles, Iva convinces him to pretend to be her fiancé to gain acceptance in high society. Their ruse leads to jealousy and a fateful car accident, forcing Bertrand to finally acknowledge Iva before his passing. With his inheritance, Iva and Billy embark on a fresh start.
