Plot

Jeff Travis, a former spy for Quantrill's raiders during the Civil War, believes he's on the run and seeks refuge in Prescott, Arizona. There, he encounters Jules Mourret, who is aware of Travis's history. Taking a job with the local stage line, Travis becomes entangled in Mourret's scheme to steal gold. After Mourret's henchmen murder a close friend, Travis vows revenge. His initial plan to use a rival gang to confront Mourret backfires, forcing him to take matters into his own hands and pursue his enemies directly.
