Plot
Morris Goldfish, a young Jewish man, struggles with his identity as he ascends the social ladder, leaving behind his traditional immigrant roots. Emulating his father in the business world, Morris employs cutthroat tactics to achieve success and relocates his family to the affluent Park Avenue. Despite their new surroundings, his parents long for their East Side community, feeling out of place. As Morris grapples with shame over his origins, he ultimately discovers that wealth does not equate to happiness, leading him to reevaluate what truly matters in life.
