Plot

Set against the backdrop of 1919, Greek immigrants from Odessa, led by the charismatic Spyros, establish a new life near Thessaloniki. Among them are Spyros' son Alexis and Eleni, a spirited orphan. Their deep bond soon leads to a forbidden romance and the birth of twins, who are entrusted to a foster family. Complicating matters, Spyros plans to marry Eleni. As their love faces opposition, the young couple decides to escape, embarking on a journey marked by exile. Alexis joins a band heading to America, while Eleni fights for her children amid the turbulent social upheaval of the era.
