Plot
Ryota, once celebrated for a literary award, now struggles as an unsuccessful writer and works as a private detective. His life is complicated by his divorce from Kyoko and his relationship with their 11-year-old son, Shingo. Amidst personal turmoil, Ryota's elderly mother, Yoshiko, lives alone in her apartment. When a powerful typhoon strikes, Ryota, Kyoko, and Shingo find themselves together at Yoshiko's place for a long night. As the storm rages outside, the family navigates their complicated dynamics, revealing deep-seated emotions and unresolved issues.
