Plot

Yann Madec, a devoted friend of renowned skipper Frank Drevil, seizes his chance to compete in the prestigious Vendée Globe when an injury sidelines Frank. After nine days of racing and leading the pack, Yann makes an unscheduled stop in Cape Verde to fix a broken centerboard. Upon resuming his journey, he unexpectedly discovers a stowaway: Moussa, a teenage boy from Senegal. Concerned about the potential disqualification due to Moussa’s presence, Yann wrestles with his conscience. Their unexpected partnership transforms the grueling race into a remarkable adventure filled with challenges and growth.
