Plot

A struggling hat-check girl finds herself unemployed and takes a job as a dancer at a lively roadhouse. While there, she unexpectedly falls for the wealthy son of a prominent businessman. However, the father suspects her intentions and is convinced she seeks their fortune. Determined to reveal her true character to his son, he devises a plan to publicly humiliate her, setting the stage for a dramatic clash between social classes and true love.
