The Dividers

After Donald Trump's inauguration in 2017, Shia LaBeouf and his artistic collaborators initiated a live stream art project titled 'HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US,' which continued throughout Trump's presidency. Initially a passionate act of defiance against a polarizing election outcome, the project soon spiraled into a viral internet phenomenon. As it gained traction, it drew the ire of 4CHAN users, who dedicated themselves to sabotaging LaBeouf's creative endeavor, transforming the project from a symbol of resistance into a battleground for online trolls.
