Plot

French Lt. Col. Pierre Raspeguy emerges from a Vietnamese war prison, only to find himself in the thick of Algeria's resistance. Tasked with leading a diverse group of soldiers, he partners with the battle-weary Capt. Esclavier and the fervent Capt. Boisfeuras.
