Plot
Robert Avranche, a disillusioned middle-aged garage owner with a drinking problem, finds himself aboard a train, contemplating his unfulfilled existence. His mundane journey takes an unexpected turn when the captivating Donatienne enters his compartment and propositions him. Intrigued, Robert agrees to her advances, but as she departs the train, a spark of impulsive desire compels him to pursue her. What follows is a quest that leads him to confront not only his desires but also the deeper void in his life.
