Plot

In "Autumn Sonata," Charlotte Andergast returns to Sweden after being away for seven years to reconnect with her daughter, Eva. Their relationship is fraught with tension, stemming from Charlotte's choice to prioritize her career as a classical pianist over motherhood. During a poignant evening together, they confront their painful history.
