Plot

John Brown, a clumsy yet good-hearted security guard, suffers severe injuries from an explosion orchestrated by a malevolent villain. Rescued and brought to a high-tech lab, he undergoes an extraordinary transformation as Brenda, a top robotics surgeon, outfitted him with advanced mechanical limbs and gadgets. Dubbed "Inspector Gadget" by the media, John teams up with his resourceful niece, Penny, and her loyal dog, Brain, to unravel the mystery of the explosion and bring the mastermind to justice.
