Plot

In 1982 Spain, Marisa takes her daughter Lucia to Madrid in search of help for an unplanned pregnancy. Lucia finds herself at Peñagrande, a reformatory for expectant teens. While there, she builds deep bonds with her fellow inmates and uncovers the harsh reality that her unborn child is destined to be taken from her.
