Plot
Ben (Glenn Ford) and Marion (Henry Fonda) are struggling cowboys who earn a scant living taming wild horses. Their cunning employer, Jim (Chill Wills), often exploits their hard work and convinces them to accept a seemingly ordinary horse as part of their pay. When Ben discovers the horse is unrideable, he hatches a clever plan to take it to a rodeo, challenging other cowhands to ride it and betting on their failure. This risky scheme could turn their fortunes around, but it also sets the stage for unexpected consequences.
