Plot

Frustrated by the lack of true romantic leads in Hollywood, studio executive Adolph Zitz launches a nationwide search for a heartthrob to rival the legendary Rudolph Valentino. Among the throngs of aspiring actors is Rudy Valentine, an anxious baker from Milwaukee with minimal experience in both love and performance.
