Plot

In the aftermath of the Cold War, a rogue Russian republic threatens global security with its nuclear arsenal. Captain Frank Ramsey of the USS Alabama welcomes the inexperienced yet promising Lt. Cmdr. Ron Hunter aboard, as their submarine may be humanity’s last hope. Tensions rise when Ramsey pushes for decisive action, while Hunter worries that such aggression could ignite a catastrophic conflict. Concerned for the crew and the world, Hunter contemplates a mutiny to prevent Ramsey from taking a course that could lead to disaster.
