Plot
This film tells the gripping true story of a group of youthful hackers from Hannover, Germany. In the late 1980s, the orphaned Karl Koch uses his inheritance to buy an apartment and a computer. Initially, he explores bulletin boards, engaging in conspiracy discussions influenced by R.A. Wilson's "Illuminatus." However, Karl and his companion David quickly escalate their activities, infiltrating government and military systems. Meanwhile, Pepe, a more dubious associate of Karl, perceives the potential for profit in hacking and ventures to East Berlin to seek connections with the KGB.
