Plot

Dell Faring, consumed by rage after her sister Celia steals her fiancé, commits murder and manipulates the situation so that Celia's husband, David, is wrongfully accused and sentenced to death. As the story unfolds, Dell learns that Susan, David’s young daughter, witnessed the tragic event and is now in psychiatric care. Fearing that Susan's memories could expose her dark secret, Dell plots to silence the child before she can reveal the truth, leading to a tense game of cat and mouse with dire consequences.
