Plot
Max, feeling misunderstood by his mother, escapes to a fantastical realm inhabited by enormous, expressive creatures named Ira, Carol, Douglas, Judith, and Alexander. Upon his arrival, they enthusiastically crown him king, leading to playful adventures filled with fort-building, wild rumpus, and the thrill of hidden secrets. As he explores this vibrant world, Max learns about friendship, responsibility, and the complexities of emotions, ultimately seeking to understand his place both in this magical land and back home.
