Plot
Set in the tumultuous 1840s, California remains under Mexican rule while its inhabitants yearn for U.S. statehood. Competing interests arise as foreign powers, notably the Russians, establish footholds in the north. Amidst this tension, Don Arturo Bordega emerges as a key figure advocating for the region's integration into the United States. Determined to strengthen their cause, he embarks on a mission to reclaim stolen firearms that could tip the balance of power in favor of the burgeoning movement for statehood. The stakes are high as battles for loyalty and territory unfold.
