Zombies of the Stratosphere (1952)

Plot

Martians plot to construct a powerful H-bomb that could displace Earth from its orbit, allowing Mars to claim its spot closer to the sun. Super-scientist Larry Martin, renowned for inventing the first stratospheric spaceship and a jet-powered flying suit, is summoned by the government to probe the surge in UFO sightings linked to the Martian invasion. Led by the nefarious Marex, the extraterrestrials enlist a rogue Earth scientist and a band of criminals to aid in their mission, which includes creating a terrifying robot and stealing essential materials. This 12-chapter serial was initially intended as a sequel to "Radar Men From The Moon."
