Plot

In "Jesus Christ Superstar," a theatrical ensemble brings to life the final days of Jesus Christ through the eyes of Judas Iscariot, his infamous betrayer. As Jesus gains more followers, Judas becomes increasingly anxious that his leader is succumbing to the adoration, straying from his foundational teachings, and developing a close relationship with Mary Magdalene, a former prostitute.
