Plot
Tom Canty, a destitute lad from England, bears an uncanny resemblance to Edward, the Prince of Wales, son of King Henry VIII. When the two boys cross paths, they hatch a playful scheme to switch clothes and fool the royal court. However, their lighthearted prank spirals out of control as they become separated, forcing each to navigate the challenges of the other's vastly different existence. As they experience life on opposite ends of the social spectrum, both boys confront the harsh realities of their worlds, leading to unexpected lessons about privilege and empathy.
