Plot
During the harsh winter of 1938, Paris becomes a haven for refugees fleeing the Nazis, who hide in the city's dark corners to escape capture. Among them is Dr. Ravic, an illegal physician consumed by a desire for vengeance against his former Nazi adversary, Haake. Fate leads him to Joan Madou, a woman adrift after her lover's unexpected demise. Despite Ravic's reservations, they embark on a passionate yet ill-fated romance, navigating the perilous landscape of love and survival as the threat of deportation looms ever closer.
