Plot

A 1930s American town is thrown into chaos as a sinister Lecturer unveils the Harper Affair, chronicling Jimmy Harper's descent from hopeful youth to a life of vice and violence due to marijuana's influence. With the support of his devoted girlfriend, Mary, and even divine intervention from Jesus, Jimmy struggles against the seductive pull of the Reefer Man and the dubious characters in the Reefer Den. This musical adaptation combines humor and cautionary tales, exploring the dark underbelly of drug culture in a whimsically exaggerated fashion.
