Plot
Following the brutal massacre of a cavalry unit by the Cheyenne, only two individuals escape: Honus, an earnest private committed to his military responsibilities, and Cresta, a young woman who spent two years with the Cheyenne and feels more aligned with their values than those of the US government. As they journey toward the main base camp, their trek is fraught with danger and reveals deepening emotions. Honus grapples with his burgeoning feelings for Cresta, leading him to question his beliefs and loyalties amidst the chaos of war and cultural conflict.
