Plot
Young Davey Crandall and his friend Tom Botts find themselves on the wrong side of the law when corrupt Governor Elden of Charleston falsely accuses them of dealing in stolen pirate treasure. To escape their predicament, they secure passage on the ship of the infamous Bloodthirsty Ben. After deceiving the crew into abandoning ship with a feigned illness, the duo inadvertently gains notoriety as pirates following a fortunate cannon shot that strikes a British vessel. They then head to Tortuga, rallying legendary figures like Henry Morgan, Captain Kidd, Anne Bonney, and Blackbeard to confront Elden and reclaim their honor.
