Plot
During World War I, dancer Jerry Jones puts together an all-soldier Broadway production titled Yip Yip Yaphank. After being injured in combat, he shifts gears to become a producer. Fast forward to World War II, and his son Johnny is tasked with creating a new all-soldier show, aptly named THIS IS THE ARMY. However, Johnny faces challenges in his personal life, as he hesitates to marry his fiancée until the war concludes, complicating their relationship amidst the pressures of wartime.
