Plot

In "Dragnet" (1987), LAPD Sgt. Joe Friday, the no-nonsense nephew of the legendary officer with the same name, teams up with the laid-back detective Pep Streebeck. As they delve into bizarre thefts, including a series of robberies at the zoo and the disappearance of a stash of adult magazines, they stumble upon a sinister cult operating within the city.
