Plot
Simon Templer, a charming mercenary, finds himself entangled with a band of counterfeiters who have brutally slain a European count and made off with £1,000,000. Suspicion falls on Templer himself, drawing the reluctant attention of Scotland Yard's Inspector Teal, who believes he’s the mastermind behind the crime. However, Templer also receives unexpected support from the nimble-fingered Dugan and the scatterbrained socialite Penny Parker, who add their own flair to the chaotic investigation as they navigate a web of deception and danger in pursuit of the real criminals.
