Plot

Antonina Milyukova, a striking young woman from 19th-century Russian aristocracy, becomes infatuated with composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky after hearing his music. Despite her privileged background, her sole desire is to marry him. Tchaikovsky eventually agrees, but his resentment leads to a tumultuous relationship where he blames her for his struggles. As he seeks to escape their marriage, Antonina clings fiercely to her love, enduring emotional torment and humiliation. Her devotion spirals into despair, pushing her towards madness as she fights to remain in Tchaikovsky's life, even as he attempts to cast her aside.
