Plot

In a tumultuous near-future France, chaos reigns as right-wing politician Philippe Muphand prepares to seize power. Just as he plans to solidify his hold, his girlfriend Caroline declares her intent to find a new partner, leading her to Serge Laine. Serge, a respected professor and author on his way to a second honeymoon in Barcelona, is quickly ensnared by Caroline’s allure. Overwhelmed by passion, he forsakes his wife, career, and moral compass, plunging into a reckless world fueled by desire, the thrill of Jack London’s tales, and ultimately, murder.
