Plot
John Crowley, an ambitious working-class father, is on the brink of corporate success when tragedy strikes: his two young children are diagnosed with Pompe disease, a debilitating condition. Determined to save them, John abandons his career and partners with the eccentric Dr. Robert Stonehill, an outcast in the medical field. Together, they establish a biotech firm to discover a life-saving treatment. As they face numerous challenges and skepticism, a deep camaraderie develops between these two unlikely partners, united by their unwavering resolve to combat the disease and protect John's children.
