Plot
Miranda Wells leaves her mundane life behind for the opulence of Dragonwyck Manor, where her wealthy cousin Nicholas resides. Initially enchanted, she soon uncovers the dark undercurrents of his life, including his strained ties with tenant farmers and his troubled daughter, for whom Miranda becomes governess. As their bond deepens following the death of Nicholas' wife, a sense of foreboding looms.
