Plot

After killing a rival clan leader, Hidejirō finds himself imprisoned. Upon his release, he learns that his family has dispersed, and he is welcomed by a group of quarry workers led by a boss who adheres to a strict non-violent philosophy. Tensions rise when the rival family targets the quarry, resulting in the murder of their leader.
