Plot

Dusty Gardner and fellow Texas ranchers embark on a cattle drive to Abilene, Kansas, along the Chisholm Trail. Their quest for water leads them to the Turner ranch, where Belle Turner imposes outrageous fees for access. Meanwhile, Dusty discovers Belle's scheme to eliminate Mary Lee and Montana Smith from the trading post that Mary manages. After a conflict, the sheriff takes Belle's side, complicating matters. Aware of hidden artesian springs beneath the trading post, Belle is determined to seize the land, willing to resort to any tactic necessary to achieve her goal.
