Plot

After their family home in Algeria is seized in the 1920s, three brothers and their mother find themselves separated across different corners of the world. Messaoud enlists in the French army, serving in Indochina, while Abdelkader takes a stand as a prominent figure in the Algerian independence movement in France. Meanwhile, Saïd heads to Paris, navigating the underbelly of the city through its seedy clubs and boxing rings, all in pursuit of success. Their journeys reflect the struggle for identity and belonging amid the chaos of colonial conflict.
