Plot
In the midst of the 17th century, a theatrical performance is staged to honor the young nobleman Cosimo. The story unfolds with a grotesque elderly woman giving birth to an unexpectedly stunning baby boy. Seizing the opportunity, the boy's older sister capitalizes on the child's charm, marketing blessings from him and falsely asserting her role as his virgin mother. However, her ambitions lead her to seduce the bishop's son, provoking the Church's wrath and resulting in a severe and vengeful punishment for her audacious actions.
