Plot
Harry Mitchell, a prosperous Los Angeles businessman, finds his seemingly perfect life shattered when blackmailers confront him with a compromising videotape featuring his young mistress. With his wife in the midst of a city council campaign, the threat of scandal looms large. Instead of alerting the authorities, Harry plays along with the blackmailers’ demands for $100,000, all while plotting a way to outsmart them without jeopardizing his wife's political aspirations.
