In "Flame & Citron," two hitmen, Flame and Citron, carry out assassinations of Nazi collaborators for the Danish resistance during World War II. Under the direction of their leader, Aksel Winther, who has ties to the Allies, the duo eagerly shifts their focus to the Nazis themselves. However, as they start questioning the legitimacy of their orders, the moral ambiguity of their mission deepens, leading them down a treacherous path filled with uncertainty and ethical dilemmas.
