Plot

Link Jones is en route to Fort Worth to recruit a schoolteacher for his remote town when he, along with singer Billie Ellis and gambler Sam Beasley, finds themselves stranded due to a train robbery. Seeking refuge, he takes them to his old homestead, a place tied to his outlaw past. Upon arrival, they discover that the gang he once belonged to is still occupying the shack. To protect his companions, Jones feigns an interest in rejoining his former criminal associates, blurring the lines between his past and present as tensions rise.
