Plot

Petey Brown, a resilient torch singer, returns home to discover her family tangled in a web of trouble with Nicky Toresca, a dubious nightclub owner. Her sister, brother, and the neighbor's wife are all entangled in his shady dealings. Determined to confront Nicky, Petey’s resolve is tested when she encounters San Thomas, a once-renowned jazz pianist who has fallen from grace. As she becomes increasingly enamored with him, Petey faces the challenge of balancing her feelings for San while navigating the chaos surrounding her family and Nicky's dangerous influence.
