Plot
Francie and Joe experience a whimsical childhood, steeped in imagination and mischief. However, the harsh reality of Francie's life looms large, dominated by his abusive, alcoholic father and a mentally unstable mother. As the chaos around him intensifies, Francie’s grip on sanity weakens, leading him to respond with increasingly erratic behavior. His attempts to escape the turmoil spiral dangerously out of control, resulting in tragic outcomes that force him to confront the darkness enveloping his family and his own mind.
