Plot
Set against the backdrop of a tumultuous 1645 England, the brutal civil war ignites a climate of fear and lawlessness. Amidst this chaos, unscrupulous individuals seize the opportunity to prey on the superstitions of the vulnerable peasantry. Chief among them is Matthew Hopkins, a sinister figure masquerading as a witch hunter. As he travels from village to village, Hopkins exploits the hysteria surrounding witchcraft, leaving a trail of terror in his wake and solidifying his reign of cruelty during this dark chapter in history.
